Why join us? 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Details The Senior Sheet Metal Estimator will play a crucial role in accurately estimating sheet metal work for mechanical and HVAC systems. This position requires a deep understanding of blueprint interpretation, mechanical drawings, and estimating processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sheet metal estimation and a background estimating small to multi-million dollar projects. Full Time Remote opportunity- candidate must be based in the Northeastern region of the US Key Responsibilities: Review blueprints and mechanical drawings to estimate sheet metal requirements for HVAC and mechanical projects. Build and maintain strong client relationships, primarily with general contractors. Solicit bids from suppliers and subcontractors, providing detailed job cost projections. Prepare submittals, project documentation, and update project foremen on job requirements. Collaborate effectively with peers, resolving conflicts as needed to ensure smooth project execution. Utilize software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, and CAD for project estimation. Experience with Trimble AutoBid is a plus. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal estimation, ideally within the HVAC or mechanical systems field. Strong client relationship management skills and experience nurturing relationships with general contractors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, and CAD software. Experience with Trimble AutoBid is highly preferred In-depth understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems, and familiarity with Massachusetts building codes, standards, and industry best practices (ASHRAE, NFPA, ASME). Proven experience in managing and leading teams within the construction or HVAC industry.
