SpineSearch is seeking a highly qualified NP or PA to join a leading health systems outpatient neurosurgery team as an ACP Supervisor

This position is full time, Monday through Friday, offering comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care alongside the neurosurgeon, including assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up for neurosurgical patients in the outpatient setting.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory work.
• Perform and assist with minor procedures, such as suture removal, wound care, and preoperative/postoperative evaluations.
• Oversee and mentor a team of ACPs in the outpatient neurosurgery department, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for ACPs, set goals, and ensure compliance with department standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• Masters Degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• NY State Licensure
• 4+ years of experience in neurosurgery or related specialty
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
