Job Description: Returns and Repairs Specialist

We are seeking a Returns and Repairs Specialist to join our team at TraxNYC. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be at the forefront of ensuring our customers receive the high level of service they expect, overseeing the returns and repairs process while providing support to our client service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Returns Management : Receive, inspect, and process returned items, ensuring they meet the company’s return policies.
  • Repair Coordination : Document and track all repair requests, liaising with jewelers to ensure timely completion and quality assurance.
  • Customer Communication : Provide updates to clients regarding the status of their returns and repairs, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Inventory Control : Organize and manage items in the repair queue, ensuring accurate records are maintained throughout the process.
  • Store Organization : Keep the workspace clean, organized, and secure, ensuring all jewelry is handled with the utmost care.
  • Customer Service : Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with inquiries about returns, repairs, and warranties.
  • Quality Assurance : Conduct inspections of repaired items to ensure they meet TraxNYC’s quality standards before returning them to customers.
  • Administrative Support : Handle related paperwork and data entry, maintaining accurate records in our system.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail, customer service, or jewelry repairs (preferred but not required).
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or inventory management tools is a plus.
  • A passion for jewelry and delivering exceptional service.
