About the Role
The Company is in need of a Head of Human Resources to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of HR, including organizational structure, employment, compensation, payroll, employee relations, benefits, and policy development. This role involves direct management of a team, so the ideal candidate should have a background in managing direct reports and be prepared to lead the HR department through a period of growth and organization. Key responsibilities for the Head of Human Resources at the company include developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, managing all aspects of payroll administration, and cultivating a positive work culture. The role also requires the development and management of recruiting and hiring processes for both retail and corporate teams, as well as maintaining compliance with all relevant HR laws and regulations. The Head of Human Resources will be expected to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years of HR experience, and a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the convenience store industry. PHR/SHRM certification is preferred, along with a background in multi-unit retail recruiting and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have extraordinary attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines, and excellent planning, prioritization, and project management skills. They should also be adept at coaching, leading, mentoring, and inspiring staff.
