About the Role:

We are looking for an Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of tax returns, financial statements, and reports. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior accountants, assisting with various accounting tasks while gaining valuable experience. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of accounting principles, and enjoys working with numbers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in compliance with legal and company standards.
Help senior accountants prepare supporting documents for tax filings and financial statement workpapers.
Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (training will be provided).
Collaborate with clients to address and resolve their accounting and tax-related concerns.
Assist with tax planning for both individuals and businesses.

Skills & Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with clients and team members.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Well-organized with the ability to respond to inquiries and address concerns promptly.
A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
Comfortable working with Windows-based systems, and proficient in Excel and MS Word.
A degree in Accounting (BS/BA) is required.

Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in accounting is preferred.

Hybrid/Partial remote options available.
