Position Overview
The Floorplan Takeoff Specialist for restaurant equipment will primarily lead services prior to order fulfillment for Dunkin’ New Store and Remodel projects that NDCP is awarded. Responsibilities include advising and guiding franchise owners and their GC’s, architects, and construction managers throughout the pre-order planning process to ensure order accuracy. This includes reviewing floor plans and equipment schedules, identifying correct specifications and hold-to dimensions, preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, and verifying bids prior to submission. Attention to detail, thoroughness, and “first time” accuracy are critical to prevent unnecessary delays in the project. This individual enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with challenging projects. Other duties are as outlined below.
NDCP’s Equipment Solutions Group has procurement and supply chain responsibilities for Dunkin’s indirect products and services, such as kitchen equipment, smallwares, custom fabrication, distribution, and consolidation programs, construction materials, furnishings, lighting, signs, and store level services. The Technical Support Specialist will report directly to the Program Manager, Equipment Solutions NDCP.
