What You’ll Do:
As an Interactor, you’ll be at the heart of inspiring curiosity and discovery. You’ll:

• Bring science to life by engaging guests of all ages with hands-on activities and exhibits.
• Be a friendly and approachable guide, helping families and school groups explore everything the Discovery Cube has to offer.
• Share your enthusiasm for science and learning while creating unforgettable experiences for our visitors.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Proactively engage guests while on the floor and interacting with exhibits.
• Ensure all guests are having a fun and safe experience.
• Assist with stage shows, field trips, birthday parties, and other programs as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; passion for science and education highly desired.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
• Public speaking or performance experience preferred.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Willing to learn and teach basic scientific concepts.
• Friendly demeanor and ability to interact with adults and children of all ages.
• Must be a proactive, self-starter and require little supervision.
• Basic computer knowledge required (email, internet browsing).
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs. for short periods of time.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of a second language a plus but not required.
• Must be fully available a minimum of three days per week during operating hours of 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

$16.50 - $16.50 USD
