Salary: $165,000 - $185,000 per year

Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Consumer Products industry. This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that are revolutionizing the industry. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications and platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the creation of systems that will significantly impact our operations and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
As an AWS Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2 and IAM.
2. Implementing authentication and user management solutions using Amazon Cognito.
3. Writing, testing, and debugging code in Python, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
4. Leveraging Docker for the creation, deployment, and running of applications.
5. Working with Linux-based systems for the development and deployment of applications.
6. Participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and cloud deployment.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improve existing ones.
8. Ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications and platforms.
9. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development and deployment.
10. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain current and competitive.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the AWS Software Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based applications.
3. Proven experience with AWS services, particularly EC2 and IAM.
4. Solid experience in implementing user management and authentication solutions with Amazon Cognito.
5. Strong programming skills in Python.
6. Proficiency in working with Linux-based systems.
7. Experience in using Docker for application creation, deployment, and management.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
10. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with new technologies and industry trends.
12. AWS certification is a plus.
