This mid-level role focuses on managing network security operations, handling alert management, implementing security solutions, and maintaining secure network access. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and ClearPass configurations, along with a solid understanding of cybersecurity practices. Key Responsibilities: Alert Management: Monitor and respond to network security alerts, escalating issues as needed. Implementing Solutions: Assist in designing and implementing network security solutions under the guidance of senior team members. Palo Alto Configurations: Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring proper security settings. ClearPass Management: Perform updates and make configuration changes to ClearPass systems. Network Access Control (NAC): Enforce network access policies and troubleshoot related issues. Cybersecurity Support: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to improve threat detection and mitigation strategies. Qualifications: Required Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in network security or a related role. Experience with Palo Alto firewall configurations. Familiarity with ClearPass configurations and changes. Basic understanding of network access control (NAC) and cybersecurity practices. Technical Skills: Knowledge of network security principles and protocols. Ability to monitor and manage security alerts. Problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. Preferred Certifications (Optional): Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) Aruba Certified ClearPass Associate (ACCA) Entry-level or mid-level cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
