Job Opportunity: Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Location: Louisiana
Pay: $18-22 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our team at an oil company in Louisiana. The successful candidate will provide essential legal support to our Main Attorney, who advises and represents oil, gas, and pipeline companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research
Prepare legal documents
Manage case files
Communicate with clients and attorneys
Qualifications:

Experience in Louisiana mineral law and federal/state litigation involving mineral rights, including lease rights, royalty claims, and title disputes
Knowledge of oil, gas, and pipeline contracts, such as mineral leases, joint operating agreements, participation agreements, and pipeline servitudes
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
