NOTICE OF APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR THE POSITION OF INSIDE WIREMAN (ELECTRICIAN) APPRENTICE
Minimum qualifications for apprenticeship are: Minimum 17 years of age to apply, high school diploma or GED (Documentation required), valid driver’s license, one full year of high school algebra (or its equivalent) with a grade of “C” or better, and qualifying score on an aptitude test. Honorably discharged veterans and individuals with previous electrical work and/or training experience may also qualify for direct entry.
Applicants meeting basic requirements will be selected based on order of final ranking. Prior to being registered, applicants must pass a drug screen, colorblind test, acquire an apprentice license from the State of Texas which includes a background check, and must be at least 18 years of age.
