Insight Global is seeking a Data Recovery Engineer to join a financial clients Server Storage Team. Responsibilities include: inspecting daily backlogs and reports, access servers, storage checks throughout the ecosystem, assisting with fiber channel storage, masking and zoning. . Work with various teams to ensure data protection policies are applied, documented and tested as appropriate. Ensuring appropriate documentation and ticketing processes are followed and improved.

4 years of experience supporting and maintaining operations for data protection including: backup and recovery, retention, and availability - ensuring data is compliant with data retention policies.
Understanding and proficiency in recovery exercises and enterprise level data protection tools like Rubrick, Avamar, cohesity, NetBackup, Unvault.
Strong ability to communicate contents of reporting pertaining to data protection and storage
Strong experience with VMware
