Job Description

We are currently seeking a CPA with a strong background in real estate accounting for a Temp to Hire or Direct Hire opportunity in Laguna Hills, CA. This is a great chance to join a dynamic team and work in a collaborative environment, reporting directly to company ownership.

What you get to do with us:
Handle financial accounting and reporting for real estate entities, ensuring accurate and timely submission to management and external CPA firms.
Manage budgeting and financial analysis to support business operations.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance.
Negotiate and prepare leases for real estate properties.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Facilitate ACH payments to vendors and partners.
Strong focus on land sales accounting and installment sales experience.
Property Management experience is a plus.

What we are looking for:
CPA certification.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate accounting (including land sales and installment sales experience).
Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, and lease negotiations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with owners and management.
Property management experience is a plus but not required.

Additional Details:
Flexible schedule: 32 hours per week. We are open to discussing the schedule.
