Job Details
A leading law firm specializing in construction, real estate, and corporate law, is seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Assistant to join our team in Coral Gables, FL.
Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Assist attorneys with case management and trial preparation
Organize and manage large volume discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery requests and subpoenas
Conduct legal research and analyze documents related to construction claims
Coordinate with project teams to gather information and documentation for cases
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and handle client communications
Assist in preparing responses to various pleadings and filing of documents
Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarity
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Paralegal Certificate preferred
Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction litigation or related legal field
Strong knowledge of construction law and industry practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in legal research tools and document management software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
