Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Community Association practice in Coral Gables, FL.
This full-time, on-site role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in community association and condominium law
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to two lawyers specializing in community association law
Manage calendars and schedule appointments
Draft legal documents including letters, meeting packages, amendments, and agreements
Interact professionally with potential and existing clients
Process attorney expense reports and register CLE credits with the Florida Bar
Maintain organized files using document management systems (PerfectLaw DMS)
Perform legal research when requested
Ensure timely filing of legal documents
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant, with experience in community association law
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Outstanding time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of PerfectLaw DMS
Bachelor's degree or certification as a legal assistant
Experience with online court filing systems
