Key Responsibilities:
● Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam software.
● Set up, adjust, and operate CNC equipment, including mills and lathes, based on setup documentation and work instructions.
● Verify setups using precision tools and ensure accurate tool length offsets and fixturing.
● Diagnose machine malfunctions and collaborate with supervisors for resolution.
● Perform and document production, quality, and performance tests.
● Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
● Perform preventative maintenance and daily machine shop tasks.
● Collaborate with engineering, management, and manufacturing teams for technical insights and process improvements.
● Continuously update knowledge through training and technical resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
● High School diploma or GED.
● 5+ years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam software.
● 5-10 years of precision machining experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
● Proficiency in operating and setting up 3 and 4-axis mills and lathes.
● Solid understanding of G and M codes, GD&T, and blueprint reading.
